I am now in my Senior year of high school and I have learned a few things over the years. I was not always a great student but I have learned what works for me and I have been able to keep a 4.0 GPA in school. Now I pass my knowledge to you as I share what I think are three important tips for success in school.
My Planner————————–
My planner has saved me time and time again. As soon as I have a new assignment I write it down, I write down every event or school function I have to attend. This ensures that I do not forget a thing. If I wrote it down then I’ll remember it. Making sure you know what is due and what you have to go to helps keep you organized. If I have too much homework on Monday, I will make sure to go tutor on Tuesday instead. It also keeps you from agreeing to stuff on days you are busy. Just having all of your assignments and priorities listed can help tremendously.
Taking Advantage of Every Assignment
Students often slack on the very easy assignments. I learned that when it comes to easy online homework and extra credit, it is important to do it all and earn all points possible. When it comes time for a difficult test or you miss a deadline, you can always count on the full points you received from the easier work. Take advantage of all the easy assignments, they add up and help your grade. It is better to take a little more time to get an A on all your homework assignments and a B on your test then to get Bs, cs or not do your homework at all.
Getting Enough Sleep——————
As a teenager, I know how important sleep is to my performance. I need a full nights rest or I just cannot function properly at school. Staying up late even if its to finish a homework assignment is not always the smartest idea. Sleeping well allows you to pay attention in class, stay attentive throughout the day and not miss a beat. Sleep is also crucial to your mood, you may feel less motivated to work or become irritated. So, catch a few extra ZZZ’s and see if that helps at all. In relation to sleeping, have you experienced dreaming of getting shot in the stomach? If so, feel free to read about it online.
